I Heart Dr. Zoe Hart

BY Unknown No comments

It's about that time of year when all my fave american tv shows are on hiatus :( but as luck would have it, I recently began watching the CWs Hart Of Dixie, which stars Rachel Bilson. The show follows city surgeon Dr. Zoe Hart. After being fired for her lack of bedside manner, she finds herself having to move to the small town Bluebell, Alabama to become a general practitioner. She soon finds her lack of empathy is what is holding her back and must learn to get the people of Bluebell onside if she wishes to succeed. The show will be airing in the U.K in April on Really.

To be fair, Hart Of Dixie is a good show, its like a mix of ABCs Private Practice and the 2002 film Sweet Home Alabama, however, I think the main reason I watch it (other than the fact that there's nothing else on) is because of the wardrobe. Hart is a fine example that you can take the girl out of the city but you cant take the city out of the girl. With shorts being her staple item, she mixes cropped jackets, floaty blouses and chunky heels to create true city chic. The other main girl in the show is Jaime King's character Lemon Breeland (Harts arch nemesis) who is in my opinion away with the fairies. Her style is very much influenced by the history of the small town, wearing a lot of vintage inspired pieces, pastel colours and embellishments to create a 1950s glam look.

There were so many looks to choose from as I'm several episodes in but these are my fave ones :)
