Coachella 2012

BY Unknown No comments

This years Coachella festival had a crazy line up and plenty of fashionable celebrities in attendance.

Vanessa Hudgens stayed true to her hippie taste in this crop top and short shorts combo, styled with an oversized, sleeveless cardi and cowboy boots. Kate Bosworth looked super cute in this western style shirt over a black tee and indigo cut offs.

Lauren Conrad, Lea Michele and Whitney Port kept their looks summery and clean in bright colours.

Rihanna stuck to her signature grunge style in metal, spiked denim cut offs and a crop top. Her new do looks good too, liking the undercut. Kate Bosworth went for rock chic in black hotpants, military boots and a tiger print tee.

Katy Perry opted for pixie grunge with floral dresses and purple locks. This sheer dress (left) was one of my faves from the whole weekend.

Kate Bosworth and Lauren Conrad opted for Hunters and matching camouflage outfits, on a rainy day 2 of Coachella

Whilst I agree there are wardrobe essentials when it comes to festivals, It's important to stick to your own personal style, there were a few celebs (cough, cough, Paris Hilton) that turned up in complete image overhauls in attempts to 'fit in' with the theme (not cool).

My Valentine

BY Unknown No comments

An array of stars' were in attendance at the Stella and Paul McCartney viewing party for Paul's new video music My Valentine. The love song was written for his new wife Nancy, which he performed at their wedding. The video features Johnny Depp and Natalie Portman and the song is beautiful.
Naturally, the stars in attendance donned Stella's designs and I must say there were quite a few stunners!

Stella herself looked super cool in head to toe black; very chic.

Jayma  Mays added splashes of neon to her black ensemble.

Zooey Deschanel looked cute in this bow detailed dress which was customised with  cream lace.

Kristen Stewart was able to keep it fresh and quirky mixing a black blazer with an electric blue skirt. Never one for playing by the rules.

Miranda Kerr looked yummy in this black number, which I have to say looks better than the original print.

Gwen Stefani's outfit was my fave of the night, its the mesh panels and curve enhancing cut! She looks young and daring, showcasing that having fun with fashion can definitely pay off.

Made In Chelsea...Get The Look

BY Unknown 2 comments

Made In Chelsea is back! And it's getting juicier and juicier each episode. I'm loving the Spencer/Louise/Jamie love triangle and the feud between Millie and Rosie, it'll be interesting to see how it all turns out.
Anyway, this post is about some of the outfits displayed in the last two episodes, which I think we can all agree were amazing! My top fashionistas' have to be Rosie and Millie. Here's a roundup of their best looks thus far.
Rosie...
Rosie has an edgy sense of style, she loves leather and dark colours, for daytime.

Coat: Zara
Fur Collar: Gerard Darel
Boots: Tods
Handbag: Prada

When it comes to evening wear, she likes to mix fabrics and lengths.
Dress: Three Floor                                                                                   Dress: Style Stalker
Heels: Aldo                                                                                             Earrings: Joomi Lim
Millie...
Millie is all about glamour; during the day she loves her fur scarves, gilets and floppy hats.

Gilet: D&G
Floppy Hat: Miss Selfridge

For nights out, Millie loves going for nude tones and embellished frocks.

This gorgeous skirt and top combo is from Prodigo and is unbelievably expensive at £435 each! However, fear not, because I found a similar dress from Style Stalker for a lot less!

This Rachel Gilbert dress is amazing, similar dresses can be found and easily embellished at French Connection and Miss Selfridge, as well as Primark (£10).

New Trend Alert! Suits You...

BY Unknown 3 comments

I am pleased to announce....  the short suit trend is back!!!! Yipee.
I think i'm in love with this trend because it can be quirky or smart, it can even be feminine and casual depending on the style of the suit you chose to rock.

With this trend, it's important to pick a suit that flatters your shape, so if you are pear shaped like moi, a longer jacket and floaty shorts will look perfect and balance everything out. Both Saturdays' girls have gone for feminine, floaty suits, in on trend pastel shades. Rochelle's suit is from Lipsy and Mollie's is from Topshop.

For those with long slim legs, shorter, tighter shorts can work. Nicole Scherzinger and Millie Mackintosh show off their endless legs in their short shorts.

For petites, it's better to opt for short shorts to elongate the legs and a cropped jacket stops you from drowning in the suit. Sam Faiers, Brandi and Rosie Fortescue have achieved the sophisticated lady look in their boucle suits. Sam's is from Lipsy, while Rosie's is from Asos.

I do have to admit, with the general fashion rule to not be too matchy, matchy, this is a trend for the more daring. To tone it down a bit you could opt for differing fabrics and colours.

Alexa Chung and Hilary Duff go for denim cut offs and structured blazers...

While Sophia Bush goes for a floaty blazer and leather shorts, also modelled on the left in Lauren Conrad's Paper Crown collection.

Cropped trouser suits are a great option for those who are a lil too shy to flash the flesh.
Bold colours are perfect for livening up the look as proved by Solange Knowles and Penelope Cruz...

A new trend upon us is print, a great way to make a statement! This suit is from Asos but I've seen plenty in other high street stores such as Topshop and River Island.
