Aint No Party Like An Oscars' Party...

BY Unknown No comments

It seemed like the majority of stars looked better at the Oscars' parties than the actual event.

At the Vanity Fair Party Elizabeth Olsen wore classic Christian Dior, Diane Kruger looked sexy in Calvin Klein and Olivia Wilde looked stunning in Gucci.

A little more daring; Lily Colins looked amazing in Monique Lhuillier and Salma Hayek in YSL.

There was a load of celebs that attended Elton John's Oscars viewing party looking on point! These 5 were my ultimate favourites. (From top left to bottom right) Miley Cryus in Roberto Cavalli, Paz Vega in Stephanie RollandDita Von Teese in Jenny Packman, Katy Perry in Blumarine and Ashley Tisdale in Maria Lucia Hohan.

So, Last Night At The Oscars...

BY Unknown No comments

So, I attended the Oscars last night and got the scoop on what everyone was wearing, here are the pics I took for my list of best dressed celebs....

Translation: I watched the Oscars red carpet show in my living room and download images from the net, lol.

To be honest, I don't feel there was anyone who really stood out and looked Oscars worthy but these are the stars' I thought looked good.

Simple I know, but I LOVE simple! I like the way Michelle Williams (right) added some femininity to her frame in an on-trend peplum waist gown by Louis Vuitton, while Shailene Woodley (left) looked sophisticated and sweet in Valentino Couture.

Missi Pyle (left) was glowing in her mint coloured eco-friendly Valentina Delfino gown. I love the sweetheart neckline and off shoulder strap and Octavia Spencer (right) teamed up with Tadashi Shogi once again with this nude number. The sequinned detail along with the waist-cinching draping makes her look modestly glamourous. I'm so happy she won Best Supporting Actress.

Glenn Close (left) looks amazing in this Zac Posen blazer and gown combo. She looks demure and age appropriate and the colour really works for her. While Leslie Mann (right) looked chic and sexy in her midnight blue Roberto Cavalli gown. Would have loved it if she went for big curls instead of an up do.

Pretty Little Fashionistas'.

BY Unknown No comments

So, to be honest I'm getting a little bored with Pretty Little Liars. All the twists and turns are confusing me now and I just want to know who A is. The only things keeping me tuned in are the smaller plots involving the girls' love lives and the wardrobe, which is getting better and better each week.

Aria is hands down my favourite, she is definitely the most stylish and most adventurous. She has an eclectic style that is very rock'n'roll yet at times very feminine.
Season 2 Episode 21:
Jeans: TRIPP NYC
I absolutely love these jeans! They are available from Urban Outfitters here.
Vest: Vintage
Boots: Jeffrey Campbell
Tank Top: Religion
Dress: Genetic Denim
The dress was on sale available here but is now unfortunately sold out.
Boots: Vince Camuto

I'm also really starting to warm to Spencer's style. She's a lot more conservative than the rest, always seen in shirts and blouses, but I think her look is quite sweet and youthful with a touch of sophistication.
Season 2 Episode 21:
Shirt: Urban Outfitters
Boots: Seychelles
This jacket looks very similar to the Burberry Prorsum Trench which is very popular amongst celebs right now but I highly doubt that a teenager like Spencer would be able to afford something so expensive, also I noticed the colour is slightly darker and the zips on the arms are gold as oppose to black. So I'm guessing this is a really good replica.  Either way, I really love this trench coat and I'm desperately searching for something exactly like this.

Another (non) member of the gang who's style I really love right now is Mona. She is a bit of a bitch but the girl can dress! Her style is very glamourous but at the same time youthful.
Season 2 Episode 20:
Shirt: Zara
Jeans: 7 For All Mankind
Boots: Steve Madden
Season 2 Episode 21
Sadly, I couldn't find where Mona got her outfit from but I thought I'd put up similar items I found, hopefully you'll like them.
The top is from Forever 21 and the skirt is from Lanvin.

Best Dressed Couples

BY Unknown No comments

With Valentine's Day fast approaching, I thought I should do a post on the best dressed couples in celeb-land. While there are loads of celebs with great style in their own right, it was hard to find couples that have great style together..

No.1: Hollywood High-flyers... Kourtney and Scott.

For those who don't know, I love Kourtney and Scott. Scott has a structured look, he's always seen looking clean cut, while Kourtney is forever mixing it up going from vintage to trendy.

No. 2 Hip-hop Hipsters... Chris and Karrueche.

I've made it clear that I'm a Karrueche stan, I love her, for me she never gets it wrong. The couple have a very youthful sense of style; mixing old school hip-hop with grunge on a normal day but going for classic glamour when on the red carpet.

No. 3 Essex Royalty... Mario and Lucy.

On and off couple Mario and Lucy have great individual styles' that compliment each other. They have a his'n'hers look. He is very masculine in his tailored suits and slicked back hair, while she has the classic bombshell look down to a t.

No. 4: Quintessentially Cool... Sienna and Tom

To be honest, I think the reason these two look so cool together is because of Sienna. She is the definition of cool, she has such effortless style, that surpasses any trend, while he has that authentic rock'n'roll grunge look.

No. 5: Pop Prince and Princess... Rochelle and Marvin

Although the newly engaged couple have very different styles, they still look good together. Rochelle's look is very feminine, showcasing her curvy frame, while Marvin has a "sweet-boy" look.

Do you guys agree with my list? Which couples would you add to your list?

TOWIE EP 3 Round up.

BY Unknown No comments

Last night everyone pulled out all the stops for Gemma's 31st birthday and although Lydia is known as the best dressed woman in Essex, I think its unanimous that Lucy was the one that stole the show in her floor length sequinned mermaid dress from Pastiche Couture. She couldn't have picked a more perfect dress, she definitely showed Mario what he was missing.
This dress is £895. Pricy but worth it but since I dont have that kind of money, I'm just going sit here and remain single. lol

I also really liked Georgina's Forever Unique Dress, a demure floor length, backless black dress with an added sequinned peplum waist gave it a chic glamourous effect. She wasn't over the top but she wasn't overlooked either.
(Sorry for the poor quality pic. I couldn't find any images of her so had to print screen from my laptop).

My third fave outfit of the night was this Debra dress worn by Lauren Pope. I am not a fan of silver or shimmery things but this dress really looks good on her, it really shouldn't have worked but I think she managed to keep it classy by going for the half up Bardot do and chandelier earrings.
The dress is available at the Debra Boutique in Chigwell.

Thank You Guys xxx

Two Years Too Late?

BY Unknown No comments

My friend Rahel and I got talking recently about what we were going to wear to our graduation in the summer and we both felt it would be good to wear our traditional attire; whilst my Rahel wants to wear traditional Eritrean Zurya, I'm really keen on putting a western twist on the traditional Nigerian Ankara. This trend first emerged in the mainstream in 2010, but in my opinion its a trend that will never go out of style as it's a great way to incorporate both my Nigerian heritage and British Nationality.
(2012)
Kate  Bosworth proved the trend is still in full force when she wore this Burberry dress last month. I never would have imagined Burberry designing something like this. I love the design, understated sexy and sophisticated.

(2010)
This top and skirt combo is by Boxing Kitten, this trend definitely suits Alicia and the colour really makes her skin glow.

(2010)
I think Fergie looks really cool in this Boxing Kitten playsuit, I don't know if it's something that I could pull off though, I'd prefer to mix the shorts with a plain blouse.

(2010)
Rihanna looks good in this Suno playsuit, it really flatters her pear shaped body.

 (2010)
I really like this Suno dress Maria Sharpova is wearing and it looks even better on the model below.

(2010)
This dress worn by Rachel Bilson is my favourite! I'm slyly cheating because it's actually a dress inspired by Kenyan cloth but I love the colour, print, design, length, everything! This is the look I want to achieve for my graduation and I've made it my mission to find this Suno dress. Wish me luck.

(2011)
I don't really like the print on these Aldo wedges but I do like the idea mixing Ankara and footwear.
