Winter Jackets Wish List...

BY Unknown 2 comments

This year I have been obsessed with coats and jackets and I can't wait to stock up on some winter coats for this fall season.

Im kind of over leather biker jackets now but I'm really feeling wool biker jackets as well as suede. I've seen some in Zara and Madwell that look lush! The twist on the classic leather bikers add a touch of sophistication and maturity to the classic. Perfectly teamed with skinny jeans or leather trousers, with a simple blouse and on-trend pointy heels a la Kim Kardashian.

Left: Madwell   Right:Zara

Lana Del Rey shows how to glam up wool bikers in her H&M attire while Vanessa Hudgens manages  to look fab while dressed down her suede Madwell biker.

The last time I had a parker was when I was 16 and ALL my friends made fun of it. But they are most definitely a winter wardrobe staple for those dress down days. I think the best combo is a loose tee + distressed boyfriend jeans+ converse with a classic khaki parker.  The one on my wish list this year is from Barbour. I'm currently trying to figure out how I am going create funds to purchase, as I dont have a spare £300-400 lying around.

Rocking the gorgeous Elizabeth and James Rollins parka; pop star Rihanna and fashion mogul Mary-Kate Olsen prepare for the on-coming freezing temps. Far right, Kate Beckinsale glams down.

Bomber jackets, these are less about keeping you warm and more about keeping you looking hot! Granted its a style of jacket suited to the most daring but I've seen a gorgeous gold one from Topshop. To perfect the grunge look, this bomber should be teamed with black skinny jeans or midi bodycon skirt and creepers with a plain black distressed tee. However, I think this kind of jacket can be glammed up with a simple black vest top, black skinnies and booties.
Both jackets are from Topshop.
Not just a trend for females; Kayne West gives Jessica Alba a run for her money in his Versace for H&M bomber, whilst Jessica exudes relaxed glamour in her leather bomber.

Revenge Episode 3 Round Up.

BY Unknown 2 comments

I love Revenge, the writers' on that show are God's gift to television!

Everyone attended the Grayson Family press conference in this weeks episode; including Amanda Clarke (nee Emily Thorne) which saw her "welcomed" into the Grayson clan and ultimately ended her relationship with Jack.
Although everyone has their own unique style, in the style stakes its clear the real contenders are Ashley, Charlotte and Queen Bee Victoria, who each stood out at the Grayson Press Conference.

The wannabe elitist channels sophistication and grace (all the things she's not) in this Jason Wu emerald green pencil skirt, Christian Louboutin peep toes and simple black blouse.

Looking innocent in classic poor little rich girl attire, Charlotte dons this Sweet Nectar Embroidered Silk Dress by Nanette Lepore.

And of course making a statement in her signature colour red, Victoria causes a stir with her revelations in this Techno Couture Rose Shoulder Valentino dress.

YES!! Made In Chelsea's series 4 premiered on Monday night and started as predicted, with muchos drama.

It seems the on-off-on-off couple Spencer and Louise are back on (for now) and Jamie has set his sights on good friend Binky. The new boys in town Andy and Sam are keen to cause trouble for the boys however, seeming to take interest in both ladies... let the games begin.
This post is a round up of the best pieces featured on episode one.

Rosie as always looked stunning throughout this episode

A casual look as the sun sets and the heat cools down.
Rosie manages to cover up without loosing her cool edge by teaming her pink Beach Candy kaftan with this custom made Jane Taylor Millnery Panama hat and adds a contrast of colour with Topshop sandals. I personally would prefer the yellow version of the kaften. Check out other Beach Candy goodies I picked out here and here (Also rocked by Rosie, left)

A great way to hide the legs without over-heating.
Rosie attended a pool party in St Tropez rocking one of her go to beachwear brands Elle en Jette (created by fellow MIC co-star Victoria Baker-Harber). What I really like is the way she's proven you don't have to stick to kaftans to cover up and the print on these trousers is a great way to liven up a simple bikini without over doing it with too much colour. Her espadrille wedges are from Topshop and sunglasses are Rayban.

Millie; who sadly didnt feature much in this episode, looked quirky chic cardi and hat combo.

Effortlessly cool for a summer house-warming.

Millie's ensemble was very similar to the one featured on the Zara website, with the addition of these Ash wedged black sneakers.

I'm hoping to see a lot more of Millie this series, she's definitely entertaining and super stylish!

Welcome back to the scandalous lives of Manhattan's elite. xoxo

The final season of Gossip Girl premiered last night with no shortage of scandal!

Having all gone their separate ways, the gang were forced to reunite in the hopes of finding a missing Serena Van Der Woodsen and returning her to the Upper East Side. This meant Blair and Dan were forced to confront each other as were Serena and Dan and Serena and Blair!

Here are my fave outfit picks from the episode...
Looking blissful in this Jenny Packman Scalloped Chiffon dress, its no wonder the UESers thought she was getting married. I wonder how long this relationship will last though.

I love Ivy, I've loved her since she first entered the scandalous lives of Manhattan's elite. For the final season of GG this outsider will definitely be creating a stir. I love this Cut25 Yigal Azrouel dress with the leather sleeves, dark and edgy- classic Ivy.

Lily Bass (nee Rhodes previously Humphries before that Bass and before that Van der Woodsen) arrived from the Hamptons and her honeymoon with the recently resurrected Bart Bass looking a million bucks in this Doo.Ri Sonia dress.

Aqua do a similar dress for a much more budget friendly price of £165.

Sweet Revenge

BY Unknown No comments

Revenge is back and I dont think anyone is more excited than myself!

The season premiere picks up several months after the plane crash last season and by the looks of this first ep, we're in for a treat this year!

I have a sneaking suspicion that the new 'It' couple aren't all they seem and something tells me Daniel's father has a part to play in this unexpected love-match.
Ashley Davenport (Ashley Madekwe- ashley-ringmybell.blogspot.co.uk) was definitely the style queen of season 1 and there's no doubt she's returned to resume her role. Here she is in my fave outfit of the episode in Azzedine Alaia's Garane Ladder Lurex dress.
Right now there are a whole heap of replica skater dresses on the high street, my favourite one is this Cutout Back Self Stripe Flippy from Topshop, retailing for a friendly £29.

The Most Wonderful Time of The Year

BY Unknown No comments

It's that time of the year again!

Autumn; a time where all my favourite TV shows come back. Woop Woop! Right now Grey's Anatomy, New Girl, 2 Broke Girls and Revenge are all back and I am over the moon! Now I'm just waiting for the return of 90210 and the final seasons of Gossip Girl and Private Practice. That being said, I'm on the lookout for some new shows, since One Tree Hill and The Secret Circle are no longer on air. If anyone reading this could give me some suggestions for new series', I'd be really grateful.
Cheers xx
